You're currently exploring Aspire-igen - Opportunities for Young People
Our Special Educational Needs (SEN) team is approachable and friendly with a specialist team of Support Tutors who can offer advice and guidance for both current and prospective learners.
We work in partnership with teaching staff, other internal services and external organisations to help learners access all available opportunities.
The SEN team is responsible for ensuring that effective and appropriate support provision is allocated to learners requiring assistance with accessing their academic studies.
Aspire2work has an inclusive approach, working in partnership with learners, their parents/carers and teaching and support teams in order to remove barriers to learning for those with learning differences. This ensures everyone can participate successfully, achieve their learning goals and maximise their potential.
In class support can be:
Autism, ADHD, Aspergers Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, Hearing impairments and Mental Health issues amongst others.
To prepare you for starting with aspire2work, you can come and look around to gain an insight in to what our offer is. You can also take a taster in the vocational area you are interested in to make sure you are making the right choice.
When you get in touch, we’ll arrange an informal meeting with a member of our team to discuss what support you may need. If you have an Education, Health & Care Plan, we can discuss the support that is required to help you meet the outcomes outlined in your plan.
